New Feature for Small Local Hamilton Businesses:

In 2024, 87% of Hamilton businesses had fewer than 20 employees, highlighting that our city is primarily made up of small businesses. This year, we aim to support the recruitment needs of these businesses at the Connect to Careers Job Fair. We recognize that it may not be feasible for small businesses to attend a job fair; so we invite small Hamilton businesses to fill out the attached job vacancy form to promote your local vacancies.

Workforce Planning Hamilton will be at the Connect to Careers Job Fair, promoting part-time job opportunities from Hamilton businesses.

The submitted job postings will be featured on the Workforce Planning Hamilton job board with a searchable identifier. These postings will go live in mid-February, ensuring they are available during the Connect to Careers Job Fair.

This new feature is free and limited to small local Hamilton based businesses hiring part time or limited positions. Complete this form to post your job listings here.

What employers are saying:

We have interviewed three people we met that day and they are all possible candidates. One is for a 12-month co-op opportunity which we were not originally looking for; however, this person impressed us so much that we are waiting for approval to recruit for the co-op.

“We were thrilled to meet and speak with recent graduates that we could assist in finding employment… We spoke with a number of students who were very suitable and we were able to select a couple of superstars.”
